Supercar Challenge Review

There are things that we like Supercar Challenge. Faced with Razzle Dazzle cyclists as Colin McRae: DIRT 2 and Need For Speed: shift work, dripping with over-the-top production values, it is refreshing to play an honest simulation racer.

Especially one that a large number of real circuits, a high-end line-up of engines Maserati MC12, Koenigsegg CCX, McLaren F1, Ferrari and naturally enough, the Sultan of Brunei jealous.

Learning Curve
The actual driving - game - let us down. The simulation mode provides management a real challenge - in fact it's a bit longer. Turn off all you can choose and realism at the expense of the game, but therein lies the greatest weakness of the game.

In a single car, estimate distances correctly, if it speeds from corners and if you have your tires at the limit of their grip, a physical and not simply replicate listening experience Supercar Challenge.

It feels like 70mph to 40mph, which make the difference between a corner and sits in a gravel bed making. Yes, you can overcompensate to override, but it is not right.

This is the game not only problems, either. Dense AI, and a carpet damage model make things worse. Supercar Challenge has a good stab at trial Gran Turismo-like race, but it is still not over the network.
