F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is a horror first-person shooter video game, developed by Monolith Productions and published by Warner Bros.for Microsoft WindowsPlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is a sequel to F.E.A.R. First Encounter Assault Recon and was released in February 2009.


The F.E.A.R. 2 gameplay maintains the core elements from the original, including slo-mo combat, martial arts attacks, and enhanced A.I. Gameplay

Trine is a side-scrolling action platform and puzzle video game, available for the PC and PlayStation Network. It was developed by the Finnish company Frozenbyte. The game was released on PC on July 3, 2009. The PSN version was to be released in July 2009, but last-minute bugs discovered in testing close to its release date caused its delay. Eventually it was released on September 17, 2009 for the EU and on October 22, 2009 for NA. A version for Xbox Live Arcade is being developed by Atlus.

Gameplay

The player controls and switches between three different characters (a thief, a knight, and a wizard) to try to complete levels. There is also a cooperative play feature, whereby multiple players can join in at any time to control different characters simultaneously.
Each character has their own health and energy meter. Energy is used for certain weapons and abilities, and is replenished by blue-colored bottles found throughout levels. Health is replenished by collecting heart-shaped containers, which result from destroying certain enemies.
The player also has a single experience rating that is shared among all characters, and is incremented by acquiring green-colored bottles found throughout levels. Every 50 experience points, each character is given one point towards the purchase of upgrades to their abilities.
Treasure chests are also spread throughout levels, each containing a charm that offers the bearing character new or upgraded abilities. The player can transfer these objects between characters, though some will only have an affect on certain characters.
Checkpoints are spread throughout levels, in the form of silver orbs on pedestals. Upon crossing a checkpoint, any deceased characters are brought back to life, and any characters below a certain amount of health and energy are replenished by that amount. The amount of energy and health replenished is dependent upon the difficulty setting chosen by the player.
When a character dies, the player must choose another living character to continue playing the level. If all three characters die, the player is sent back to the last checkpoint crossed, and all three characters are resurrected.
Enemies primarily include walking skeletons and bats, along with boss characters, like giant skeletons and other large creatures. Some skeletons are armed with swords, others with bows and arrows, some spit fire, and some have shields. Skeletons are capable of scaling walls. Other dangers include lava, fireballs, giant sharp pendulums, and various other booby traps.
Trine utilizes Nvidia's PhysX physics engine to provide objects and characters full physics interaction.

Dragon Age: Origins, (also known as Dragon Age), is a computer role-playing game currently in development by BioWare's Edmonton studio. The game will be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America on November 3, 2009. Bioware has stated that the game will run "very well" on Windows 7, released just two weeks before Dragon Age.
Dragon Age: Origins utilizes a new game engine named Eclipse. It has been confirmed that a toolset for creation of fan-made content will be included. The game will be single-player only and not provide LAN support. BioWare co-CEO Ray Muzyka describes Dragon Age: Origins as a 'spiritual successor' to the Baldur's Gate series, though it is not based on Dungeons & Dragons.

The designers are incorporating 'origin' stories for each race and some classes in the game. For example, a Dwarf Noble will begin the game as part of the royal family in one of the Dwarven cities, and a Dwarf Commoner will begin on the streets of the city. Origin stories determine the background of the player's character prior to the main events of the game's story, forming an introduction to the game world while also comprising hours of game-play. People that the player meets during the origin story may reappear throughout the game, some of whom may be adversaries.
There is no tracking of alignment as in previous BioWare games, but the moral choices of the main character throughout the game will still affect the story. The player may save the world whether choosing to be good or evil, but the decisions that the player makes in the process will change the game world – deciding who will become King, for example, and affecting nations and races and their places in the world. These decisions will also influence the companion NPCs, possibly causing an NPC to leave the party or even attack the player.
As with the Baldur's Gate series, players will be able to issue orders to NPCs in real time or while the game is paused, and queue up actions such as spells and special attacks.
Several of the game's features have been confirmed.There will be three base classes to choose from: the rogue, the warrior, and the mage. These classes can be upgraded later into a specialized class. The confirmed specialization classes are Berserker and Templar for the warrior, and Shapeshifter for the mage. The six character backgrounds are Human Noble, Human/Elf Mage, Dalish Elf, City Elf, Dwarf Commoner, and Dwarf Noble. The game will use a party system similar to that of the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, in that it will feature the main character with up to three active party members, chosen from a large pool of NPC's in the game. The camera will be over the shoulder third person view when zoomed in, and an isometric-style view when zoomed out. The spells in the game will interact with the effects of others. For example, a blizzard spell would put out the flames caused by hitting something with a grease spell and then a fire spell.

The rules are fairly simple, the qualification is not particularly complicated, and the presentation is fairly simple. Enter "NBA Live 10", the last entry in the venerable franchise, EA Sports. It's only five guys, a ball and a hoop, is not it? Maybe not.






The Basics

Ultra-Smooth Flow
Much of the basketball is on speed and pace of the game, especially when working with teams like the Suns and the Cavaliers, which greatly in the transition game.
